unethical american express

american express is one of the most popular credit card issuers in the world but they have many unethical practices.

for example they are known to check peoples tax records in a process called a financial review to see if they are lying or not about their income.

another unscrupulous practice were the allegations against them that there were times customers were not given a clear option for opting out of terms when they were changed.

whether you want the amex gold, platinum or centurion, their cards have unethical written all over them.
